How
the IWDA Model Works
ASTRALCOM acts as the central contact point for all contacts within
the Independent Web Developers Association (IWDA). The client will
contact ASTRALCOM via e-mail or telephone number.
ASTRALCOM develops a proposal or order sheet for the client and
reviews it with IWDA provider to ensure that pricing and development
are acceptable. ASTRALCOM then forwards the proposal to the client
for review and acceptance. If the client agrees, a contract between
ASTRALCOM and the client is signed.
The ASTRALCOM staff will complete all the necessary design documentation
and deliver the project instructions and related materials to the
IWDA provider. The provider then performs the web development and
other agreed upon work for the client, based upon the signed order/proposal.
The ASTRALCOM
staff will complete the Design Specification Form, if the client
knows the needs of their company. The form and the clients information
will be given to the assigned IWDA contracted provider.
The provider
then develops a proposal or order sheet for the client and reviews
it with ASTRALCOM to ensure that pricing and development are acceptable.
The provider
then sends the completed order/proposal to ASTRALCOM, which then
forwards it to the client for review and acceptance. If the client
agrees, a contract between ASTRALCOM and the client is signed.
The provider
then performs the web development and other agreed upon work for
the client, based upon the signed order/proposal.
ASTRALCOM
bills the client for services throughout the billing cycle. ASTRALCOM
also communicates with the provider to offer any assistance and
ensure that the work meets pre-established quality standards.
The provider
receives payment as ASTRALCOM collects fees and at agreed upon
phases of site production and development.
